There's always an underlying issue to skincare problems. Sometimes you can breakout from dirty phones, unclean makeup brushes, or soiled pillowcases. Other breakouts can arise from eating bad foods, toxic buildup, or hormonal changes to name a few. You have to learn your body to determine what the reason is. Everyone's body is made up entirely differently. The last thing you want to do is compare your skincare journey to someone else.
With a great skincare regimen, you can take control of scarring left from breakouts. By cleansing daily you can also get rid of oil and bacteria in pores. Once oil and bacteria becomes trapped within your pores, pimples form. Overproduction of oil and a buildup of bacteria contribute to pimples. Areas with the most oil glands are the face, chest, neck, back and shoulders. Be sure to thoroughly cleanse these areas at least twice per day.
A nutritious diet that is high in omega 3 fatty acids are skin strengthening. Great skin foods are sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, almonds, kale, citrus fruits, strawberries, broccoli, flaxseed, walnuts, bell peppers and avocados. Avoid sugar, dairy, fried foods, white bread, white rice, processed food, chips and foods with high glycemic and gluten loaded. Bad foods trigger hormonal fluctuations and inflammation, both of which makes acne formation easier.
It is a journey to clear skin, but it is possible!
